Our Family Grows

It’s happened. There’s a new human in the house. My bunsister arrived on the 8th of June and I’ve been helping to introduce her to life in my house.

Dylan and I are spending a lot of time together, chilling, eating, cleaning and playing. Our bunsister sleeps a lot but she can also be very very noisy!

Happy Easter Everyone

I've been quiet on this page for a wee while but I can't help it, when the sun comes out bunmum makes me go outside.

It's ok I suppose but it means that I can't get to the computer and she gets to hog it.

Anyway, I knew I must post Happy Easter to everyone and let you know that life is fine and dandy here. Although bunmum has started washing some seriously small clothes and I'm hoping they aren't for me or Dylan.

Lucky

I couldn't believe my luck today. Bunmum left the hay stash unattended AND wide open! What a great day.

Oops

OK, so bunmum won't stop laughing at me and instead of helping me get cleaned up she is taking pictures!!

Bunmum puts me on the kitchen table every morning and every evening so that she can give me my medicated eye drops. On this occasion she decided to give my wee face a wash as my eyes are a bit runny and my fur gets a bit sticky. Little did she know that I'd spotted a box of treats at the other end of the kitchen table.

As soon as she turned her back I went straight for the treats, but in my haste I knocked them over and all the dust from the bottom of the box flew up and stuck to my face. Looks like I should expect a second face wash, at least bunmum let me have a treat for my efforts.

February Catchup

Time is absolutely flying by!! Lots has happened and I don't know where to start. How about with a picture:

Oh yes this is a good one. Dylan and I are just spending time relaxing after having our VHD vaccinations. In my case it's the first time I have been vaccinated for two years as I had previously had such a bad reaction to the Cylap vaccine. This time bunmum was particularly excited to find out that our vet has started using a different vaccine called Anivac. You can see that so far we are both doing great.

So what else has been happening? Well we've been busy reorganising our new house. It's lovely and big but unfortunately bunmum keeps coming along and putting things back where they were. It's very annoying.

Meanwhile I have been three times in as many months to visit Lis, my vet, who has been flushing out my tear ducts. They are infected and she likes to do it without making me sleepy. It's no fun. AND bunmum has to put drops in my eyes twice a day. It's very inconvenient.

Well I'd better go hide now, it's about time for my drops!

Happy New Year

Bunmum and I have started the year by being ultra creative. Bunmum spent much of the day trying to clear out a spare room for bunbrother or bunsister (we won't know until he or she arrives) so it was nice to see her finally sit with me so that I could help her with her yearly task of creating next years Christmas tags. Together we cut out the lovely pictures on the cards sent by our friends and we stored them away to be used on gifts next year.

Then bunmum baked some cookies, but she wouldn't let me help OR taste. Most dissappointing!

Off to the vet surgery

The day started off so well with a massive supply of hay and a bundle of treats. But it's gone downhill. I have been bundled into a carry case and driven to Laurencekirk where bunmum always gets sent away while I am poked and prodded.

Today I am told they are going to flush my eye ducts without sedation. I'd like to see them try!
