Recycling

Bunmum and bundad have been very industrious today and cleared out their garage. Aparently it was full of cardboard boxes but bunmum decided not to donate them to Dylan and I. They flattened them and off they went to the recycling centre in town. I couldn't believe my luck when they came back with a hutch in the boot of the car. It had just been lying in the skip, bundad says it stinks of ferrets but Dylan and I will soon see to that.

Bunmum has hosed it down a couple of times and it dried in the gorgous sun, so by afternoon Dylan and I got to play in it, or in Dylan's case sleep in it.

It's missing a bottom panel so that I can squeeze in and out even with the doors shut, but bunmum reckons she'll fix that in no time. Other than that it's in great condition. In the mean time it's sitting within our 'dog' pen so we have the freedom to roam around when we're out.

Sunshine Worshipper

What lovely weather we've been having here in Angus and when I have to come indoors at night I find every ray of light I can to keep that sunny feeling.

Bunny life is brilliant.

Mirium Sakewitz

A true “Bunny Lady” Mirium Sakewitz, 47 of Portland, Oregon has been arrested this week for hoarding more rabbits in her hotel room after previously being prosecuted in 2006 when police found and confiscated 250 rabbits in her home with 100 dead ones also in her freezers and fridges. This is one scary woman and I hope we never come close to meeting her.

Fame

Dylan and I feel famous after discovering that we had made it onto the Disapproving Rabbits website. We had great fun reading all the comments.

I got so excited that I kept pressing all the wrong buttons on my keyboard and kept losing the page. Stupid laptop.

New Box

A new box to keep me busy.

Bunmum put down a mat inside, I think it's an attempt to stop me eating through the floor. Luckily Dylan is on the case, he's an expert digger and he'll get this mat up in no time.

It's been raining today but this'll keep me busy for a while. I'll start by enlarging this window to make it a door....

Messy Dylan

This is sooo unlike Dylan, he's such a tidy little man always putting things away and moving stuff around.

So when he went a bit mad with the hay rack we didn't know what was going on. Then he tried to give us a cute look as if to say 'who me?'.

Wallace and Gromit

An exhibition called 'Animated Adventures featuring Wallace and Gromit' is coming to Dundee, my nearest city and also where I was born, to the Live Science Centre 'Sensation'. It's going to be an interactive exhibition and will include the hand crafted sets and models from the feature film 'Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-rabbit'.

In anticipation of this you can now play a Wallace and Gromit game at the following link. Travelling in their van you need to use your net to catch rabbits on the road.

Killer Bunny

Bundad is a big fan of Monty Python and he's just sent me this clip, I don't see the attraction, it's all a bit silly.

Make Up?

Dylan informs me that people think he wears fake lashes and wears make up. I think he must've misheard bunmum and bundad talking about his colouring. Anyway, Dylan has insisted that I post a picture of him to prove he's all natural.

Bunmum spent a LONG time trying to get him to sit still for his close up, but I think you'll agree she has proved his point.

Rubbish Rabbit

15 artists were recently commissioned at the Design Museum in London to complete design projects to be trialled in London. This is what Paul Smith came up with:

A 5 foot rabbit collecting rubbish called the ‘New London Rubbish Bin’. When a member of the public puts rubbish in the rabbit’s bag, it’s ears will light up. The finished product can now be found in Covent Garden and Holland Park in London where it is being trialled for the next four months. You can also see the bin on show with the fourteen other projects at the Super Contemporary Exhibition in the Design Museum in London.

Summer

Wow. I just love summer, unlimited grass and lots of space to play in the sun.
