Bunmum has just explained to me that rabbits feet are considered to be lucky. Aparently, once upon a time, Europeans believed that rabbits were sacred because of their ability to live underground and to reproduce quickly and so they were believed to be able to communicate with spirits. The rabbits foot was usually chosen to be the symbol of luck because it was the easiest body part to dry out and carry around. YUCK! Why does she tell me these things?
Dylan has insisted I add this little advert he found on Youtube to make us feel better. I just think he's gullible, but let's humour him....
