Scottish SPCA Rehoming Week

It's almost the end of a busy week at the Scottish SPCA where they have been running their first ever 'Rehoming Week' campaign. It has aparently been going well and many animals have been rehomed, however, many animals are still being taken in to be cared for and rehomed.

The Scottish SPCA website states: 'Of course, we do not encourage ‘impulse’ rehoming as we advocate responsible pet ownership at all times. However, many people do not think of visiting one of our rescue centres when they decide to rehome an animal.

Scottish Rehoming Week will also allow us to increase awareness of the huge variety of animals in our care needing new homes.'

To rehome an animal, rather than buying one from a shop or breeder, is a rewarding experience and bunmum always says she's proud of taking Dylan and I into her home. So if you are thinking of getting a pet, try to rehome one and give them a better life.
